Helping Hand Thrift Shops

Helping Hand operates two community-based thrift shops which feature a surprising array of home goods, clothing, collectibles and other treasures.

The Brookfield shop opened in October of 1970, and we opened the Lemont shop in 2000. With help from our many dedicated volunteers, as well as staff, both of our shops provide support toward the Helping Hand mission; To assist persons with disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence through quality programs and services.
