CLINICAL SERVICES
BEHAVIOR ANALYST - F.T. - We are seeking a Behavior Analyst to manage a caseload of adult clients with developmental disabilities and to work on a grant that facilitates communication in adults and children with autism. Job Responsibilities: Maintain a caseload of adults clients: Conduct functional assessments; Conduct Preference Assessments; Write individualized Behavior Intervention Plans; (BIP); Train staff to implement Behavior Intervention Plans; Collect and analyze data on an ongoing basis; Create monthly, quarterly and annual reports depicting client progress. Work with speech and language pathologist to increase communication among children and adults with autism: Provide PECS training to individuals; Train staff to implement PECS training; Run social skills group for high school aged children with autism Write quarterly reports on progress Requirements: Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for BCBA within 6 months.
DAY PROGRAM (Countryside)
DEVELOPMENTAL TRAINERS - F.T. - Developmental Trainers needed for our day program in Countryside. Provide recreation and vocational training support for adults with developmental disabilities. Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.; Must have a HS diploma or GED, be 23 years of age for Pace certification; must have previous experience working with persons with disabilities.
JOB COACH - F.T. - Helping Hand Center is seeking a responsible person to job coach individuals with disabilities in community jobs. Must be a good communicator; be 23 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record for PACE certification; and have experience working with adults with disabilities in a vocational setting. Advancement potential for the right person. This is a full-time position with flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
VOCATIONAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR - F.T. - An organized individual is needed to supervise the Vocational Services Program. Requirements: A Bachelors Degree in the rehabilitation field; exp. in job placement with the disabled population, good communication skills; previous supervisory experience; a minimum of 2 to 3 years working as a Vocational Counselor; prior experience working with the Department of Rehabilitation Services preferred. A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is also required.
DAY PROGRAM - EVANS CENTER - HOMER GLEN
DEVELOPMENTAL TRAINER – F.T. - 35 hrs. per week. Provide recreational and vocational support for adults with disabilities, Monday – Friday, 7:30 – 3:30. Must have a high school diploma or GED and experience working with persons with disabilities.
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
RESIDENTIAL TRAINER – P.T. - Trainers needed to provide life skills training for adults with developmental disabilities living in the community. Evening, overnight and weekend hours available. Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid D.L. with an acceptable driving record; experience working with adults with disabilities also required. Previous DSP preferred but will train.
CHILDREN'S SERVICES
PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - F.T. - (Monday – Friday) Full-Time Position Open to work in both a Quality Pediatric Outpatient Clinic and a Model Best-Practice Therapeutic Day School. Terrific Opportunity to join a creative, innovative interdisciplinary TEAM! We are looking for an energetic individual who enjoys variety and works well independently and with a team; who has experience with group therapy, individual therapy, and an array of disabilities and delays including autism. Must have valid Illinois Occupational Therapy license or be eligible for one.
